Missouri High School Baseball - Marshall can't hold off Southern Boone

In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Southern Boone Eagles baseball team scored a tight 6-5 victory over the Marshall Owls.
The Eagles (33-2) will now prepare for their contest against Logan-Rogersville (Rogersville, MO). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 17-6 record. In their last contest, Logan-Rogersville held off Kennett (Kennett, MO), 11-1, in a non-league contest.
The Owls now sport a 12-17 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kennett for a non-league contest on Thursday, June 2. Marshall will play a Indians squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Logan-Rogersville (Rogersville, MO). The Indians record now stands at 25-5.
