Waterford Wolverines (Waterford, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Kettle Moraine Lasers (Wales, WI), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Wolverines now own a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kaukauna for a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 8. Waterford will battle a Galloping Ghosts squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Green Bay Preble (Green Bay, WI). The Galloping Ghosts record now stands at 19-0.
With the loss, Kettle Moraine falls to 15-6 on the campaign.
