The Webster City Lynx baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the host Newell-Fonda Mustangs to 2 in the Lynx non-league victory on Saturday.
The Lynx (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Humboldt (Humboldt, IA). The Wildcats go into the North Central match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Humboldt tipped Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA), 11-3, in a non-league match.
The Mustangs (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA). The E'Hawks go into the non-league match with a 2-4 record.
