The Charles City Comets softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Clarksville Indians to 0 in the Comets non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Charles City moves its record to 8-1 on the year. The Comets travel to Crestwood (Cresco, IA) to clash with the Cadets in a Northeast Iowa game on Tuesday, June 4. The Cadets come into the game with a record of 6-3. Crestwood won 10-0 in their recent non-league game against Oelwein (Oelwein, IA)

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Wahlert Golden Eagles (Dubuque, IA) in a non-league game, on Monday, June 3. Clarksville will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record.
