Hudsonville Eagles (Hudsonville, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Jenison Wildcats (Jenison, MI), 8-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 37-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Unity Christian for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, June 5. Hudsonville will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Reeths-Puffer (Muskegon, MI). The Crusaders record now stands at 24-5.

With the loss, Jenison falls to 19-10 on the campaign.
