The Murray Mustangs softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Melcher-Dallas Saints to 2 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Murray moves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Mount Ayr (Mount Ayr, IA) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league game on Monday, June 3. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 4-1. Mount Ayr won 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Bedford (Bedford, IA)

In their next game, the Saints clash with the Seymour Warriors (Seymour, IA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, June 4. Melcher-Dallas will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record.
