The Estancia Bears softball team scored 28 runs and limited the host Mora Rangers/Rangerettes to 9 in the Bears league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Estancia improves its record to 6-5 on the year. The Bears host McCurdy (Espanola, NM) to clash with the Bobcats in a A/2A District 2/5 game on Tuesday, June 15. The Bobcats come into the game with a record of 4-7. McCurdy lost 17-2 in their recent non-league game against St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM)
In their next game, the Rangers/Rangerettes clash with the Clayton Yellowjackets (Clayton, NM) in a non-league game, on Monday, June 14. Mora will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a 0-10 record after their 19-2 league loss to Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM).
