South Portland Red Riots (South Portland, ME) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Marshwood Hawks (South Berwick, ME), 4-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, South Portland upgrades its record to 15-3 on the season. The Red Riots travel to Thornton Academy (Saco, ME) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Tuesday, June 13. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 14-5. Thornton Academy won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Falmouth (Falmouth, ME)
With the defeat, Marshwood falls to 12-7 on the season.
