Lake Orion Dragons (Lake Orion, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Dragons now own a 7-2 record.

With the loss, Dakota falls to 31-4 on the campaign.
