The Iowa City Little Hawks crushed the visiting Waterloo West Wahawks baseball team by a tally of 8-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Little Hawks now hold a 23-4 record. They take the field next when they host Clinton for a non-league bout on Wednesday, June 12. Iowa City will face a River Kings team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Davenport North (Davenport, IA). The River Kings record now stands at 0-13.
Next, the Wahawks face the Waterloo East Trojans (Waterloo, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, June 11. Waterloo West will attempt to advance on its 3-17 season record. The Trojans enter the bout with a 5-11 record after their 6-3 league win over Marshalltown (Marshalltown, IA).
