Spectators at Monday's league match between the Clayton-Ridge Eagles (Guttenburg, IA) and the host Central Warriors (Elkader, IA), witnessed Clayton-Ridge's softball squad prevail over Central by a count of 14-1.

The Eagles now sport a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Turkey Valley for a Upper Iowa match on Monday, June 24.

With the loss, Central moves to 0-8 on the season. The Warriors travel to West Central (Maynard, IA) to face the Blue Devils in a Upper Iowa match on Wednesday, June 12. The Blue Devils go into the match with a record of 1-7. West Central lost 18-14 in their recent league match against South Winneshiek (Calmar, IA)
