Muscatine Muskies (Muscatine, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Clinton River Kings (Clinton, IA), 14-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Muskies now own a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they host West Liberty for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, June 12. Muscatine will face a Comets squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Tipton (Tipton, IA). The Comets record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Clinton falls to 2-17 on the campaign. The River kings travel to North Scott (Eldridge, IA) to face the Lancers in a Mississippi Athletic challenge on Monday, June 17. The Lancers enter the challenge with a record of 9-2.
