Spectators at Monday's league match between the Kee Kee Hawks (Lansing, IA) and the host Postville Pirates (Postville, IA), witnessed Kee's softball squad prevail over Postville by a count of 12-2.

The Kee Hawks now sport a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Independence for a non-league match on Friday, June 14. Kee will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Clear Creek-Amana (Tiffin, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-14.

With the loss, Postville moves to 0-4 on the season. The Pirates travel to South Winneshiek (Calmar, IA) to face the Warriors in a Upper Iowa test on Wednesday, June 12. The Warriors enter the test with a record of 6-8. South Winneshiek won 18-14 in their recent league test against West Central (Maynard, IA)
