The crowd at Monday's league match between the Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds (Swanton, VT) and the host St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT), saw Missisquoi Valley's softball squad nip St. Johnsbury Academy by a count of 6-1.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bellows Free Academy for a non-league match on Tuesday, June 11.

With the loss, St. Johnsbury Academy falls to 9-5 on the campaign.
