South Winneshiek Warriors (Calmar, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting West Central Blue Devils (Maynard, IA), 18-14 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host Postville for a Upper Iowa challenge on Wednesday, June 12.
