The Wildcats now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to MOC-Floyd Valley for a Siouxland challenge on Wednesday, June 11. West Lyon will clash with a Dutchmen team coming off a 14-1 league win over Central Lyon (Rock Rapids, IA). The Dutchmen record now stands at 12-0.

With the defeat, Spirit Lake drops to 9-2 on the year. The Indians travel to Humboldt (Humboldt, IA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 12. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 13-4. Humboldt won 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Forest City (Forest City, IA)
