In Tuesday's non-league test, the Easton Valley (Preston, IA) softball squad got by the host Starmont Stars (Arlington, IA), by a tally of 11-10.
Next, the clash with the Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings (Edgewood, IA) in a non-league test, on Monday, June 16. Easton Valley will attempt to advance on its 1-11 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 17-5 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Washington (Washington, IA).
The Stars (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Springville (Springville, IA). The Orioles go into the Tri-Rivers - West test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Springville was nudged by North Linn (Troy Mills, IA), 9-1, in a league test.
