The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Grand View Christian Thunder (Des Moines, IA) and the visiting West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA), observed Grand View Christian's softball team prevail over West Marshall by a tally of 13-3.

The Thunder (10-2) will now prepare for their bout against Roland-Story (Story City, IA). The Norsemen go into the non-league bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, Roland-Story knocked off Nevada (Nevada, IA), 14-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA) in a Heart of Iowa bout, on Wednesday, June 11. West Marshall will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the outing with a 8-1 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA).
