The Sioux City North Stars got by the visiting Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors softball squad by a count of 3-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Stars meet the Sioux City East Black Raiders (Sioux City, IA) in a Missouri River challenge, on Thursday, June 12. Sioux City North will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record.
The Warriors (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Le Mars (Le Mars, IA). The Bulldogs go into the Missouri River challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Le Mars held off Storm Lake (Storm Lake, IA), 4-3, in a non-league challenge.
