Maine High School Lacrosse - South Portland drops to Thornton Academy

Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting South Portland Red Riots (South Portland, ME), 13-9 in a non-league test.

The Trojans now have a 14-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cape Elizabeth for a non-league test on Wednesday, June 15. Thornton Academy will face a Capers squad coming off a 12-7 non-league win over Scarborough (Scarborough, ME). The Capers record now stands at 11-2.
