In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Benton Bobcats baseball team scored a tight 8-3 victory over the West Delaware Hawks.
The Bobcats (17-6) will now prepare for their game against South Tama County (Tama, IA). The Trojans go into the WaMac-West game with a 2-13 record. In their last game, South Tama County tipped Vinton-Shellsburg (Vinton, IA), 13-4, in a league game.
The Hawks (3-14) will now prepare for their game against Western Dubuque (Epworth, IA). The Bobcats go into the non-league game with a 10-3 record. In their last game, Western Dubuque was overwhelmed by Cedar Falls (Cedar Falls, IA), 13-10, in a non-league game.
