Creston Panthers (Creston, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Glenwood Rams (Glenwood, IA), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clarinda for a Hawkeye 10 challenge on Wednesday, June 12. Creston will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 8-3 non-league win over Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 14-5.

With the loss, Glenwood falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Rams host Clarinda (Clarinda, IA) to face the Cardinals in a Hawkeye 10 challenge on Friday, June 14. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 14-5.
