In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Ankeny Centennial Jaguars baseball team scored a close 5-4 win over the Pleasant Valley Spartans.
The Jaguars (7-5) will now prepare for their game against Valley (West Des Moines, IA). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 12-5 record. In their last game, Valley nudged Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA), 6-3, in a non-league game.
