The Audubon Wheelers nipped the visiting West Central Valley Wildcats baseball squad by a score of 7-6 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Wheelers battle the IKM/Manning Wolves (Manning, IA) in a Western Iowa outing, on Thursday, June 12. Audubon will attempt to advance on its 2-9 season record. The Wolves come into the outing with a 4-7 record after their 12-2 league win over Riverside (Oakland, IA).
The Wildcats (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA). The Trojans come into the West Central outing with a 10-0 record. In their last outing, Pleasantville tipped Interstate 35 (Truro, IA), 15-0, in a league outing.
