The Eagle Grove Eagles baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting North Union Warriors to 8 in the Eagles league win on Wednesday.

The Eagles now hold a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Southeast Valley for a non-league test on Thursday, June 12. Eagle Grove will play a Jaguars team coming off a 12-2 league win over West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-4.

With the defeat, North Union drops to 4-6 on the year. The Warriors host Garner-Hayfield/Ventura (Garner, IA) to play the Cardinals in a Top of Iowa - West test on Friday, June 13. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 7-3. Garner-Hayfield/Ventura won 12-5 in their recent non-league test against Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA)
