The East Union Eagles baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Murray Mustangs to 7 in the Eagles non-league win on Wednesday.

The Eagles now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Decatur for a Pride of Iowa test on Thursday, June 12. East Union will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 14-1 league loss to Southwest Valley (Corning, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-8.

With the defeat, Murray drops to 2-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Seymour (Seymour, IA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league test on Thursday, June 12. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 2-4. Seymour lost 9-0 in their recent league test against Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA)
