The Sigourney Savages baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting H-L-V Warriors to 6 in the Savages league win on Wednesday.

The Savages now own a 11-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montezuma for a South Iowa Cedar test on Friday, June 13. Sigourney will clash with a Braves team coming off a 7-3 league win over Iowa Valley (Marengo, IA). The Braves record now stands at 3-5.

With the defeat, H-L-V drops to 3-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA) to clash with the Plainsmen in a South Iowa Cedar test on Friday, June 13. The Plainsmen go into the test with a record of 3-5. Belle Plaine lost 17-9 in their recent league test against North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA)
