The North Scott Lancers baseball squad (Eldridge, IA), was edged 1-0 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Linn-Mar Lions (Marion, IA)
With the triumph, Linn-Mar moves its record to 8-11 on the season. The Lions travel to Western Dubuque (Epworth, IA) to confront the Bobcats in a Mississippi Valley - Valley contest on Friday, June 13. The Bobcats come into the contest with a record of 6-4. Western Dubuque lost 9-8 in their recent non-league contest against Assumption (Davenport, IA)
The Lancers now possess a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cedar Falls for a non-league contest on Saturday, June 14. North Scott will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Wahlert (Dubuque, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-4.
