The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA) and the host Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA), saw West Marshall's baseball team gain a win over Prairie City-Monroe by a tally of 14-0.

The Trojans (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against East Marshall (Le Grand, IA). The Mustangs enter the non-league battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, East Marshall was overwhelmed by Denver (Denver, IA), 11-5, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Mustangs face the Saydel Eagles (Des Moines, IA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, June 12. Prairie City-Monroe will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 11-2 record after their 10-0 non-league win over South Hamilton (Jewell, IA).
