The St. Mary's Hawks baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Trinity Christian Tigers to 0 in the Hawks league win on Wednesday.
The Hawks now hold a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union for a War Eagle test on Friday, June 13. St. Mary's will play a Royals team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA). The Royals record now stands at 9-1.
With the defeat, Trinity Christian drops to 4-5 on the year. The Tigers host West Sioux (Hawarden, IA) to play the Falcons in a War Eagle test on Friday, June 13. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 1-3.
