Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) backers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the host Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT), 10-9 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Staples improves its record to 12-3 on the season. The Wreckers travel to Darien (Darien, CT) to play the Blue Wave in a non-league game on Saturday, June 14. The Blue Wave come into the game with a record of 16-7. Darien won 8-5 in their recent non-league game against New Canaan (New Canaan, CT)
The Tigers now have a 16-4 record.
