The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Clear Creek-Amana Clippers (Tiffin, IA) and the host Grinnell Tigers (Grinnell, IA), observed Clear Creek-Amana's softball team get by Grinnell by a tally of 6-4.

The Clippers (12-1) will now prepare for their bout against North Polk (Alleman, IA). The Comets go into the non-league bout with a 11-1 record. In their last bout, North Polk tipped Boone (Boone, IA), 5-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Washington Warriors (Cedar Rapids, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, June 13. Grinnell will attempt to advance on its 12-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 21-0 non-league loss to Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA).
