The Kingsley-Pierson Panthers softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting West Monona Spartans to 4 in the Panthers league win on Wednesday.

The Panthers now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lawton-Bronson for a Western Valley battle on Monday, June 16. Kingsley-Pierson will confront a Eagles team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over West Central Valley (Stuart, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, West Monona moves to 9-5 on the season. The Spartans host Lawton-Bronson (Lawton, IA) to confront the Eagles in a Western Valley battle on Thursday, June 12. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 3-5. Lawton-Bronson lost 10-8 in their recent league battle against Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove (Ida Grove, IA)
