The Sioux Center Warriors triumphed over the visiting Okoboji Pioneers softball squad by a count of 12-4 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Unity Christian Knights (Orange City, IA) in a Siouxland challenge, on Thursday, June 12. Sioux Center will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 10-2 non-league win over Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA).

The Pioneers (2-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA). The E'Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 0-9 record. In their last challenge, Emmetsburg was routed by Humboldt (Humboldt, IA), 12-3, in a non-league challenge.
