The South Winneshiek Warriors triumphed over the host Postville Pirates softball squad by a count of 15-3 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Nashua-Plainfield Huskies (Nashua, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, June 12. South Winneshiek will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record.

The Pirates (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against West Central (Maynard, IA). The Blue Devils enter the Upper Iowa challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, West Central overcame Central (Elkader, IA), 18-9, in a league challenge.
