The Hudson Pirates baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Denver Cyclones to 0 in the Pirates non-league victory on Monday.

The Pirates (9-5) will now prepare for their match against Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA). The Falcons go into the non-league match with a 7-6 record. In their last match, Aplington-Parkersburg was overwhelmed by Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA), 9-7, in a non-league match.

The Cyclones (1-12) will now prepare for their match against Columbus (Waterloo, IA). The Sailors go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record.
