In Monday's non-league game, the host Fairfield Trojans baseball team scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Washington Warriors.
The Trojans (7-5) will now prepare for their game against Pella (Pella, IA). The Dutch go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Pella tipped Grinnell (Grinnell, IA), 13-6, in a non-league game.
The Warriors (6-24) will now prepare for their game against Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, IA). The Indians go into the non-league game with a 1-3 record.
