The Central City Wildcats softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Midland Eagles to 0 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Central City improves its record to 11-7 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA) to clash with the Plainsmen in a non-league game on Tuesday, June 13. The Plainsmen come into the game with a record of 2-5. Belle Plaine lost 17-1 in their recent non-league game against North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA)

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Wilton Beavers (Wilton, IA) in a non-league game, on Friday, June 16. Midland will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Beavers come into the game with a 11-7 record after their 12-1 non-league win over West Liberty (West Liberty, IA).
