Rhode Island High School Softball - La Salle Academy holds off Pilgrim

La Salle Academy Rams (Providence, RI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Rams now own a 20-3 record.

With the loss, Pilgrim falls to 18-3 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to St. Mary Academy-Bay View (East Providence, RI) to battle the Bengals in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, June 14. The Bengals enter the challenge with a record of 16-6. St. Mary Academy-Bay View won 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Cranston West (Cranston, RI)
