Glidden-Ralston Wildcats (Glidden, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Ar-We-Va Rockets (Westside, IA), 13-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host CAM for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 14. Glidden-Ralston will face a Cougars squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Boyer Valley (Dunlap, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, Ar-We-Va falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Woodbine (Woodbine, IA) to face the Tigers in a Rolling Valley challenge on Friday, June 14. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 10-1. Woodbine won 13-0 in their recent league challenge against Coon Rapids-Bayard (Coon Rapids, IA)
