West Sioux Falcons (Hawarden, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting George-Little Rock Mustangs (George, IA), 16-8 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 1-11 record. They take the field next when they host Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn for a War Eagle challenge on Friday, June 14. West Sioux will face a Hawks squad coming off a 5-3 league loss to Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-9.

With the loss, George-Little Rock falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs host South O'Brien (Paullina, IA) to face the Wolverines in a War Eagle challenge on Friday, June 14. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a record of 6-9. South O'Brien lost 11-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Central Lyon (Rock Rapids, IA)
