Sioux Center Warriors (Sioux Center, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Okoboji Pioneers (Milford, IA), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Unity Christian for a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 13. Sioux Center will face a Knights squad coming off a 9-7 non-league win over Western Christian (Hull, IA). The Knights record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, Okoboji falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Sheldon (Sheldon, IA) to face the Orabs in a non-league challenge on Friday, June 14. The Orabs enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Sheldon won 12-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Sibley-Ocheyedan (Sibley, IA)
