Pocahontas Indians (Pocahontas, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA), 13-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Webster City for a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 13. Pocahontas will battle a Lynx squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Algona (Algona, IA). The Lynx record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, South Central Calhoun falls to 0-11 on the campaign. The Titans travel to East Sac County (Lake View, IA) to battle the Raiders in a Twin Lakes challenge on Friday, June 14. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 5-8. East Sac County lost 12-0 in their recent league challenge against Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA)
