The Bobcats now own a 16-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vinton-Shellsburg for a WaMac-West test on Thursday, June 12. Benton will play a Vikings team coming off a 16-2 league loss to Grinnell (Grinnell, IA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-9.

With the defeat, Vinton-Shellsburg drops to 3-11 on the year. The Vikings host Benton (Van Horne, IA) to play the Bobcats in a WaMac-West test on Thursday, June 12. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 14-3. Benton won 16-5 in their recent non-league test against Monticello (Monticello, IA)
