In Thursday's league game, the visiting Storm Lake Tornadoes baseball team scored a nice 13-0 win over the Cherokee Washington Braves.

The Tornadoes (7-4) will now prepare for their game against Estherville Lincoln Central (Estherville, IA). The Midgets go into the Lakes game with a 9-6 record. In their last game, Estherville Lincoln Central knocked off Algona (Algona, IA), 7-1, in a non-league game.

Next, the Braves play the Sioux Center Warriors (Sioux Center, IA) in a non-league game, on Friday, June 13. Cherokee Washington will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Warriors go into the game with a 9-4 record after their 8-4 league loss to Unity Christian (Orange City, IA).
