Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Lake Country Lutheran Lightning (Hartland, WI) and the host St. Joseph Lancers (Kenosha, WI), saw Lake Country Lutheran's soccer squad hold off St. Joseph by a count of 3-2.

The Lightning (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Mills (Lake Mills, WI). The L-Cats enter the non-league battle with a 14-2 record. In their last battle, Lake Mills nudged University Lake (Hartland, WI), 6-0, in a non-league challenge.

With the loss, St. Joseph moves to 11-7 on the year.
