The Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals got by the visiting Sheldon Orabs softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Generals meet the MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen (Orange City, IA) in a Siouxland challenge, on Friday, June 13. Sibley-Ocheyedan will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Dutchmen go into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 10-5 non-league win over Hinton (Hinton, IA).

The Orabs (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Okoboji (Milford, IA). The Pioneers go into the Siouxland challenge with a 2-9 record. In their last challenge, Okoboji held off Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA), 14-4, in a non-league challenge.
