In Friday's league match, the host Wayne Falcons softball team scored a nice 9-1 win over the Mount Ayr Raiders & Raiderettes.

The Falcons (10-1) will now prepare for their match against Murray (Murray, IA). The Mustangs come into the non-league match with a 9-3 record. In their last match, Murray was routed by Lamoni (Lamoni, IA), 2-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Raiders & Raiderettes confront the East Union Eagles (Afton, IA) in a Pride of Iowa match, on Monday, June 15. Mount Ayr will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record.
