Denison-Schleswig Monarchs (Denison, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Harlan Cyclones (Harlan, IA), 12-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Monarchs now sport a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host Atlantic for a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 15. Denison-Schleswig will face a Trojans squad coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 10-10.

With the loss, Harlan falls to 1-17 on the campaign. The Cyclones host Kuemper (Carroll, IA) to face the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 15. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 9-6. Kuemper lost 15-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Creston (Creston, IA)
