In Tuesday's league outing, the host Sioux City North Stars softball squad scored a tight 6-4 win over the Jefferson Yellowjackets.
The Stars now sport a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Le Mars for a non-league match on Thursday, June 15. Sioux City North will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Sioux City East (Sioux City, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-9.
With the loss, Jefferson falls to 10-12 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Urbandale (Urbandale, IA) to face the J-Hawks in a non-league match on Monday, June 19. The J-Hawks enter the match with a record of 0-1. Urbandale lost 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Boone (Boone, IA)
